How to Attract Dream Clients in my Massage Business
Let’s get real for a sec. You are probably holding onto some nightmare clients as you read this, right?
Yeah.. sorry to tell you but that’s kinda like keeping those jeans from 10 years ago- the ones you swear they’ll fit again, but deep down, you know they’re just taking up space in your closet. Well, the same thing happens in your business. You’re so busy trying to make it work with clients who drain you that you’re missing out on the ones who actually value what you do.
Yep. It’s time to let that shit go.
And before you say, “But I need clients, I can’t afford to be picky,” hear me out for a second..
The more space you create, the easier it is for your dream clients to show up. Let’s break it down.
Why Some Clients Feel Like a Bad Date
Ever had that one client who makes you question why you got into this industry in the first place? You know, the one who:
Tries to haggle your pricing like you’re at a market in Thailand.
Shows up late (or even worse-doesn’t show up at all)?
Acts like you’re their emotional punching bag, dumping their crap on you and still expecting magic from you?
If reading that gives you palpitations, then congrats! You already know who needs to go.Here’s the thing-when you keep making space for clients who aren’t a good fit, you’re blocking the ones who actually ARE. It’s like standing at a buffet but filling your plate with food you don’t even like. You’re missing out on the good stuff.
Here’s what I want you to focus on…
Step One: Stop Holding On to Clients That Drain The Living DayLights out of you…
I know.. letting go feels hard because we’re wired to grip tight to what’s familiar. But guess what?
Not every client is YOUR client.
Not every person who inquires deserves a spot on your table.
Not every dollar is worth the stress of it all
So before you book another appointment with a client who makes your eye twitch, ask yourself:
👉 Do I genuinely enjoy working with this person?
👉 Do they respect my boundaries, time, and expertise?
👉 Do they pay without blinking or guilt-tripping me?
If the answer is no to any of those, it’s time to wave goodbye and release them with love.
Step Two: Get Clear on Who Your Dream Client Actually Is
A lot of people get stuck here because they think “anyone who pays” is a dream client. Nope. You CAN afford to be picky.
Your dream client is someone who:
✔️ Values what you do and pays without question.
✔️ Shows up on time, respects your boundaries, and doesn’t ghost.
✔️ Raves about your services from the rooftops and sends referrals like it’s their job (without asking anything in return).
✔️ Makes you excited to show up to work—not dreading your day.
Now take a minute and think-who’s your best client right now? The one who makes you think, “If I could clone them - I would.”
That’s your ideal client. Now, we need to call in more of them.
Step Three: Make Your Business a “F Yes” for Your Dream Clients
You don’t find dream clients by accident. You attract them. And that means making sure your brand, messaging, and offers scream, “I’m for YOUR DREAM MASSAGE THERAPIST.”
1. Talk Like They Talk
Stop trying to sound like every other massage therapist out there - they are boring - I have seen them. Your dream clients need to see themselves in your content.
Instead of:
❌ “Book a relaxing massage today.”
✅ “Feel like a pretzel after work? Let’s fix that.”
See the difference?
2. Price for the Clients You Want
Undercharging attracts bargain hunters.. I don’t give a crap what anyone says in the industry. If you want high-quality, respectful clients. Cheap pricing screams, “I am desperate for clients” and so you will end up with clients who don’t respect you. If you HAVE to discount.. please only do a limited time special. After that, its full prices!
3. Make Space (Literally)
This is where people get really stuck. You say you want dream clients, yet your schedule is full of energy sucking vampires.
So, here’s a challenge: Set a boundary.
Raise your prices.
Require a credit card upon booking.
Enforce a cancellation policy (for real this time). No shows, NO FUTURE BOOKINGS - PERIOD.
The wrong clients will weed themselves out. And that’s exactly what you want.
Step Four: Trust That the Right Clients Will Show Up
✔️ I got better clients.
✔️ My business felt lighter.
✔️ I actually made more money. A LOT more.
Your energy is your currency. Protect it. Honour it. And watch what happens when you stop settling.
So, I want you to go grab a drink of your choice, sit down and write down…
Where in your business are you holding on too tight?
DM me and let me know what hit home for you on all this.
And BTW - The doors to Massage Entrepreneur Club are opening soon, if you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re gonna wanna fix that. The first 25 who sign up when doors open are getting an insane perk.
Let’s start bringing in those F yes clients.
